Whether strolling along Main Street, checking out rare trades demonstrations, or dropping in for lunch with family at the New York Bakery, the Pioneer Pass makes it easy to experience Sovereign Hill whenever you like.


 

How to get your Pioneer Pass

1. Bring your ID

To apply for your pass, please bring:

  • Photo ID showing proof of age
    Accepted forms include your driver’s licence, passport, or proof of age card.
  • Proof of residence
    If your photo ID does not show your current Ballarat address, you’ll also need one of the following:
    • Utility bill
    • Rates notice
    • Residential tenancy agreement

2. We’ll process your pass

Our team will set up your Pioneer Pass on the spot.
Your digital pass will then be emailed directly to you.


 

Using your Pioneer Pass

When you return to Sovereign Hill, simply:

  1. Show your photo ID at the entrance.
  2. Our team will verify your account and issue your admission ticket for the day.

 

Important information for current Pioneer Pass holders

Sovereign Hill is currently updating its systems and records. All existing Pioneer Pass holders will be issued with a new, electronic Pass when they next visit Sovereign Hill.

Please allow extra time on your next visit for us to confirm your details and process your new pass.
